South London DJ Riz La Teef has of late positioned himself snugly at the goalmouth of the UK underground circuit. Lauded for his acetate and vinyl fixation as well as superlatively championing that metropolitan fusion of funky, grime, dubstep and UK garage, the kind of rep Riz has reaped thus far is one many selectors and record enthusiasts strive to achieve. In the first year that he’s been active in the scene, he’s already been billed alongside like Novelist, Capo Lee and Nightwave parallel to garnering much acclaim for his monthly Radar Radio broadcast that he himself aptly sums up a smorgasbord of “fresh acetates & a variety of older bits.”
It was only a matter of time before we got him back in the booth so this coming Friday (29th July) he'll be linking up with Spooky for a special all vinyl back to back session as part of Bristol's bass music specialists The Blast debut Room Two takeover. To help rack up anticipation he's kindly recorded an exclusive mix just for us, one that's all acetate and vinyl of course.
