As an inspirational pioneer of all the sound embodies, it's hard to understand the blueprint of house music without checking out this soul man from Detroit first. Ingrained deep in the cities great musical heritage – Parker is ranked next to Detroit hometown artist ambassadors like Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Carl Craig. Since 1988 he's gone on to release more than 100 recordings on various labels like his own Intangible Records, Simply Soul, Octave One's 430 West, Studio !K7 and more recently his digital label arm, Parker MusicWorks.
