Next Friday we await another drum & bass showdown at FABRICLIVE as Hospital return to Farringdon. They join us for a one-off launch party double-header, with both S.P.Y and Nu:Logic celebrating their latest releases as they play 2-hour sets in Room One.
Two of Hospital’s most recognisable players, Nu:Tone and Logistics have joined forces for their second Somewhere Between The Light LP under their Nu:Logic guise.
Ahead of the launch party, the brothers have run an exclusive premiere of album track Dreamweaver, and had the following to say before they return:
“Dreamweaver is a relatively simple track but the more time goes on, the more we enjoy making music that focuses on the vibe rather than fancy production techniques to carry the track. It’s quite representative of the sound we're about and it's been going down well in our DJ sets. We hope you like it too!
"To launch our album at fabric is a huge honour, we felt extremely privileged to do it with our first album and we couldn’t really believe it when we managed to arrange it for a second time. Everyone knows fabric is a dance music institution. The last time we played there we met people who'd travelled from Prague and Tel Aviv specifically to experience fabric – that says everything about its reputation on an international scale. As both DJs and punters, we've had some incredible nights over the years.
"It's a real pleasure to play alongside some of our favourite artists on the night and things like the Shadow Child jungle set will no doubt be very special. If you've heard any of his shows on Rinse lately you'll know what we're talking about.”
