Having been a participant in the Red Bull Music Academy this year, its rare that you'll see the Vanishing Point Records' boss' name, Alitrec, up on the internet without those familiar four letters, RBMA, appearing alongside it (hell, we just went and did it ourselves). But - as FACT have so rightly already noted - her own music, that she's self released on bandcamp, is a much more woozily accessible entry point. Noisily contemplative and sunk amongst swathes of reverb her melodies seem content to crawl underneath the more prominent layers of her production work, sitting strikingly under the radar on tracks like 'Cartograph' and creating something completely unique. She's also appearing in Room Two at FABRICLIVE this Friday alongside Martyn, Anthony Naples and Call Super so we went and asked her to introduce herself the best way we know how, by commissioning her to make a mixtape that we could circulate in the run up...
