This weekend we welcome collective N.O.N music to our third space where resident The Pushamann joins guests Beaner and Two&Eight for an all-night long session. Dropping a sonic slew of his technicolour selections for us back in June last year, we thought it only right to ask Beaner to deliver a new and exclusive mix ahead of his forthcoming set this Saturday. Featuring a classic and tantalising four four amalgamation from the likes of Shed, Black Riot and The Mole, the latest blend to come from Berlin’s majestic maestro is the perfect fusion to send us into the weekend revelry. Currently situated as he says, “in a stolen submarine”, here’s what Beaner aka Pablo Roman-Alcala had to say about his latest drop… "My La Mission affiliated affinity group and I have been following the ongoing insanity in the Crimea all antsy in our pantsy. We decided that the best course to take would be to get closer to the action. So, as I write this, I am on a stolen submersible, the 877 Paltus (Kilo Class). This has cut into my time for music related ventures, so I was only able to record it on the submarine yesterday. I used a couple Korvet 038 Turntables they had laying around, plus some kind of multi-channel radio communications mixer. I played some unreleased stuff over the overhead intercom (I had to make the whole mix match that BPM) and it was all recorded to Magnetophon. I wanted my mix to help me come to some kind of decision about what we could do to help the people of the region best, but to be honest, shaking ones booty doesn’t lead to wanting to throw your weight behind Putin led intelligence services or U.S. led intelligence services. They are both evil. I hope things are resolved positively and everyone enjoys the music that I saw fit to bring.
