Dossa & Locuzzed is the DJ and production duo of Benedikt Dengler and Rene Maierhofer. Growing up in Austria through the early 2000s during a heyday for drum & bass, the pair were heavily inspired by UK figureheads like Ed Rush and Optical, flying the flag for their local scene long before the sound had garnered a devoted following across Europe. They’re now one of Austria’s most prolific drum & bass duos, known best for their funk-indebted club anthems on Futurebound’s esteemed imprint, Viper. In recent years they’ve become one of the label’s mainstays, and with the crew landing at FABRICLIVE for their 15th anniversary celebrations this Friday, they’re soon set to make their EC1 debut. Ahead of joining us, they tore through Viper’s back catalogue (in 61 tracks, no less) as a loaded build-up to the label’s massive birthday rave-up.
