The Detroit Grand Pubahs are an act that from day one have been combining killer electro tracks and sexed up humour with erm… food. Originally founded by Paris the Black Fu and Anthony Troth in 1999 they’ve since released their first two albums on Jive and Poker Flat with the tracks quick becoming underground club smashers and you’ll all know and love ‘Sandwhiches’. In 2005 the group established Deletefunk their primo electro and techno label. This was around the time that Mr. O came on board taking on beat making and DJ duty he’s also the man who’s produced this mix hurtling us through the sound of EPM and The Detroit Grand Pubahs. We’re set to be suitably thrilled this Saturday with a Live/DJ set seeing Mr. O take to the decks, live sax from Domgue and of course Paris the Black Fu on vocals never without his wig or bottle of Jack Daniels.
