Amongst some of our regular dancefloor heads it’s widely accepted that the pairing of Ricardo Villalobos and our custom built Room One rig is something of a phenomenal force; an almost divine union birthing a musical experience that’s become legendary around the globe. As to what it is exactly that makes it special, everyone has their own ideas but there’s something to be said about the importance of the range of frequencies our Martin Audio soundsystem is capable of reaching. Fully pronouncing the complexities in the Chilean born producer’s back catalogue is something we know from experience that Villalobos personally values but he reveals as much to Red Bull Music Academy Radio, who caught up with him for the latest edition of their Fireside Chat interview series. The feature also comes at a time when we are starting to look forward to celebrating 10 years of our ‘special’ relationship with such an exceptional artist.
