Audio: Stopmakingme - Wrapped In Plastic EP Stream
Kill Em All resident extrodinaire and sometime fabric blogger Stopmakingme has some news. Not only has he been announced as one of the residents for Erol Alkan's new night, Phantasy Sound, but he also has a new EP dropping in a couple of weeks on Kill Em All's record label (of the same name).
In his own words: "The EP is culmination of all things I love about the dancefloor and influences I've absorbed from London life. Arpeggiators and analogue synths; oddball Italo Disco big enough to work in main rooms; rolling Krautrock basslines and current bands like Factory Floor who have helped resurrect them; Hot Mix 5 hand claps; pulsing electroclash with camp vocals; the simplicity of ESG and every other early Factory Records release as well as the modern day electro I've grown up on like Simian Mobile Disco, The Chemical Brothers, Erol and Tiga, all of whom I've had the chance to warm up for, with my hands shaking uncontrollably every time."
