Crate Diggin: Kruse & Nuernberg's Spring Selection

Florian Kruse & Nils Nuernberg have a special weapon in their sonic artillery. Both of the Hamburg residents are graduates in sound design and have a full loaded studio at their daily disposal. As well as running their own imprint, Save Room Recordings, they’ve also shared their finely honed tech house visions on Fred Everything’s Lazy Days label, through which they released their debut long player last year. They’re making their live debut in this Saturday in Room One and in a desperate measure on our part to get some much needed relief form the harsh cold bite in the air, we’ve asked them to put together this Spring inspired playlist to get us in a more danceable mood ready for the weekend’s happenings. Kruse & Nuernberg's Spring Selection: Chymera - Disc (Dirt Crew Recordings) Disc by Chymera is a perfect weapon to make people dance. It's all about the never ending bass hook. This is definitely one of those tracks that stays in your playlist for ages. Daniel Dexter - Papillon (Pokerflat Recordings) Focus On Daniel Dexter is his brand new album on Pokerflat Recordings and Papillon is one of the strongest tunes out of it. Received this tune in a promo mail a couple of weeks ago and immediately loved it! Definitely a melodic floor burner. It's such a massive tune that grows and grows and ends up with a lovely synth melody. Squarehead - No One Has To Know (Pets Recordings) Catz N' Dogz do evertyhing right atm. Not only their own productions also the releases on their label Pets Recordings are outstanding. 'No One Has To Know' is a fun track with a lot of groove and a positive vibe. Kruse & Nuernberg & Polargeist - Temperature Rise (Exploited Records) Inspired by the sound of Metro Area we made this 110 bpm slow house tune with our Hamburg mate Polargeist which was just released on Shir Khan's Exploited label. Guess that's the sound of the spring! COMPUPHONIC feat. Marques Toliver - Sunset (Aashton & Swift Remix) (Get Physical) We've just been touring through Australia, New Zealand and Asia and this tune is made for day parties. It has a classic hands up moment when the piano hook comes in in the first breakdown. Sunshine vibes! Nicholas - Silvering An old skool one but still so suitable for today’s dance floor, it functions very well for both, warm up and cooling down… Andrade - Magic Keys (Dessous Recordings) Deep house with a proper sampling attitude and a groovy bass line. Rachel Row - Follow The Step (Justin Martin Remix) (Pets Recordings) The KINK Remix was already one of our most played tunes of the last month. This mix has a totally different approach but is definitely as huge on the dance floor as KINK's version! Gabriel Palko - Comet (Circle Music) No matter what time of the night you play this in your set, this always works! Fabio Giannelli - Maintain (M.A.N.D.Y. Remix) (Get Physical) Dance floor sure shot and all time crowd pleaser.
