If you’re looking for something to pass the hours this Sunday, you could do worse than to check Paris Is Burning, a 1990 documentary celebrating the marginalised communities at the heart of New York’s late 80s ballroom scene. Directed by Jennie Livingston, the film won multiple awards including Sundance Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize. Last year, Netflix released a restored version of the original picture.
