John Talabot started out as one of those mysterious come borderline anonymous artists. Having already amassed some recording history behind him, the Barcelona based producer wanted his recycled, chic dancefloor pounders to take on a life of their own that was not weighted in their makers past and his faceless tactics worked, garnering him a worldwide rep that includes the now substantial Miami Winter circuit – an outtake of which you can witness in the player below, when Talabot took to Boiler Room’s poolside broadcast during the week long industry session. You can also see him make his Room One debut next Saturday where he’s set to DJ alongside Craig Richards and Marco Shuttle while Steffi and The Analogue Cops will be performing live together as The Third Side.
