Dave Clarke is known for being a standalone kind of personality; still staunchly positioned at the top of the techno game, he does it all for himself and by his own rules. While he’s kept up his status of a DJ just doing it so well, we’ve all been feeling the lack of original productions that really gave him that level of admiration in the first place. Thankfully though, a very good thing happened this year when a studio partnership with Dutch producer Mr. Jones and a platform built by our fresh faced record label Houndstooth, resulted in the first original Clarke-associated production in a long time, ‘Spek Honjde’. To mark the release, DJ Mag invited the pair to record an exclusive podcast for their website’s mix series which you can listen to below.
