In the Bag: Rebekah shares eight blistering club cuts

Cloning Disaster – Eat My Brain (M00DY Remix) [Variant Electronic]
I discovered M00DY towards the end of last year, his sound is hard and industrial but it still has a groove, which I like. Interesting arrangements with twists and turns, mixing industrial with hardcore for this remix – this spanks hard.Tommy Four Seven – 2084 [47]
The only 4/4 track from Tommy’s album Veer is a straight industrial bomb, but it still grooves in all the right places. His album is incredible and a real development in his sound design, adding a layer of depth with dark pads and eerie vocals.Crystal Geometry – Our Doom [Tripalium]
Crystal Geometry’s first EP on Sonic Groove was spectacular, and now they follow up with this EBM bomb. I love how this evolves throughout the track, and how funky it is.Good Room – Maureen [Sticky Ground]
This is a straight up throwback record, no attempts at making it “current”, just a feel good record. This is where I stop and have a little dance during my set.Paula Temple – Joshua and Goliath (Techno Version) [Noise Manifesto]
Paula’s long-awaited debut album is almost ready to be dropped, and the main track from the album is Joshua and Goliath, a synth-led monster that encompasses everything that Paula is as a producer: brutal drums, but with a melancholic synth and plenty of interesting sound design which make it a huge pleasure to listen to. Look out for Cages from the same album, there’s no full clip online yet but it’s an absolute beast.Vices & Violence – Kindly Revenge [Illegal Alien]
This record is just lush – so uplifting, and, dare I say, trance infused? I’m not one for so many melodies but I recently dropped this for the first time during an extended set in Berlin and it gave me goosebumps. It’s nice to move from the darkness towards the light, sometimes.Bonnie – Secretum008 [Mechanical Thoughts]
A fast acid banger that builds and builds. Pure techno.Empire State – Blow (Version) [VEYL]
I can’t even classify this record, is it electro? Is it EBM? Doesn’t matter… it's a super fun, banging record to play. They also have a track called Cuntworms on the same album, legends!Tags
