Kasra releases live set recording in memory of late FABRICLIVE Programmer Shaun Roberts

Proceeds from "Kasra: Critical Sound Live @ fabric with MCs GQ and Mantmast" will go to Bowel Cancer UK.

Next up in the Never Sleep charity tape series is a special live recording from fabric: Kasra and his Critical Sound crew offer up a selection of modern dnb, jungle rollers and some dark roll outs for the late night steppers.

Hosted by MCs GQ and Mantmast with undeniable air that encapsulates the atmosphere of these special sessions perfectly. Raw, dubby and enough to make the hairs stand up on your neck.

All proceeds will go go to Cancer Research in memory of FABRICLIVE's Shaun Roberts, who gave Kasra a residency and was a huge influence on UK club culture.

"fabric played a huge role in shaping me as a music fan and years later became the London home for me and my label. This wouldn’t have happened without the help and support of Shaun Roberts, who left us far to soon in December of 2022 after an 18 month battle with colon cancer. When the Never Sleep crew asked me to contribute to their mix series I knew I'd like to honour Shaun and help raise some money for Bowel Cancer UK. Without Shaun and people like him taking chances on people like me the music landscape would look very different. This is mix is taken from the Critical Sound 15th birthday event in 2017. Shaun Roberts RIP."

Kasra & Critical Sound will host a special launch at Phonica Records on 3rd November with limited edition colorways of the tape + limited edition packaging.
