NEWSFLASH: Scientist Launches Dubstep Into Outer Space

This November, the Red Bull Music Academy will team up with one of Bristol’s leading dubstep imprints (and FABRICLIVE residents), Tectonic, to bring one of dub music’s fiercest originators to the UK. The legendary dub producer and electronics obsessed musician who was schooled at both King Tubby’s and the Channel One studios, Scientist will return to these shores for a tour that kicks off here at fabric on the 18th November. Joining Scientist on the night will be the legendary Upsetters - who were not only Lee Scratch Perry’s house band but also form the nucleus of The Wailers, famed for their work with Bob Marley - Tectonic boss, Pinch, Deep Medi master Mala, the man behind Swamp81, Loefah and emcee Sgt Pokes.
