On the Road: Reso's Tour Diary Part 1

Reso makes music and in turn, puts it out on the Civil Music label. He's currently on tour in the U.S of A promoting his 'Ishimura EP', so ahead of his homecoming here in Room Three on the 2nd March he's agreed to put together something of a tour diary for us... You can read on to see what he's been up to... Oh and he's also dropped a free tune, the Evol Intent remix of 'Ishimura' no less, over on his facebook page. You can grab that here: http://on.fb.me/EvolIntentRemix LA: "After having a stroke of serious luck on the translatlantic flight (I wangled a whole 4 seats to myself - that makes my rather long legs very happy), it was quickly soured by the incredible foot tapping bastard. He kept that shit up for 7 hours! But rather than say anything I just sat there stewing in my own funk giving him the frowning of a lifetime when he happened to look my way mid air drum fill. "After a speedy customs clearance I was driven to a pretty swanky hotel with no less then 2 different sausage pillows (gotta love American hotels, travelodge you can suck my chuddies) and took the obligatory power nap before the show. "Dim Mak studios is a cool venue, great sound, can't go wrong with Funktion 1. DJG was on before me and was great to see him again and hear some non bro music. My set started a bit shakily, only halfway through did it become apparent that the crowd wanted d&b (after dropping ‘Marka’ they were properly in it). That suited me fine so I promptly rinsed out the rest of the set with some spanking new Drums tunes. "It was fucking cool to meet photek as well. It's always wicked to meet your hero's and they are actually decent people. "I was chatting to some cool people in the smoking area as well, Americans really are so friendly, it makes me a bit sick. Knocked back two double black labels and instantly felt shitfaced so ducked out for bed. "All in all not a bad start."
