Premiere: Amorf share an unreleased track for WYS!’s 11th birthday

This Sunday is a special one for WetYourSelf! as they prepare to celebrate their 11th anniversary. They are best known for being a centre of support for London’s best local talent but they also regularly nod to artists doing good things further afield. They’ll be bringing more of the same this Sunday, as Romanian experimentalist trio Amorf prepare to make their UK debut with a live set in Room One joining the full WYS! resident cast of Jacob Husley, Peter Pixzel, Carlos Ryan and Lamine. Formed of Romanian minimalists Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia alongside pianist Mischa Blanos, Amorf are known for their largely improvised live performances, while their classical-influenced Blending Light LP from last year was among one of the year’s best minimal releases. In celebration of this weekend’s birthday, the group have shared the unreleased track Downing Street, a typically jazzy ethereal house cut. Stream: Premiere: Amorf – Downing Street
