Audio: Dave Anthony presents Kemet Soul’s warm deep house sound

Dave Anthony is part of one of the fastest growing corners of house music. For the last year his label Kemet Soul has championed the sound of Afro House, a warm style of deep four four that South African deity Black Coffee most famously brought attention to. Anthony himself is Kemet Soul’s leading producer, though his records are frequently made in collaboration with veteran names like DJ Spen and E-Man. He’s brought the label's Kemet Deep Session to Farringdon a few times now, and this weekend returns with regular guests Hyenah, Manoo and JazzCool. Before they bring their infectious sun-kissed melodies to Room Three on Saturday, Anthony recorded a mix showcasing the label’s highly distinctive sound.
