Introducing CJ Jeff’s Melodic Stamp on Classic House Music

Before he was known internationally in the club community, CJ Jeff was already a local hero in Athens. The Greek deep house DJ is known and celebrated in the city for his sets at Dybbuk, the 400-capacity spot where he’s held a weekly residency for the last decade.

In between his weekly sets in his hometown Jeff has gradually become a sought-after name further afield, playing regular dates at adored late-night spots like Cavo Paradiso, D-Edge and Watergate. His music has appeared on the likes of Bedrock, Yoshitoshi and Objektivity, while the Rythmetic label he runs with Thodoris Triantafillou has signed giants like Nick Curly and No Artificial Colours.

Jeff has often described Objektivity founder Dennis Ferrer as something of a mentor since he was signed to the label, so it’s extra special for us to have them playing together in Room One this weekend. Ahead of this Saturday Jeff sent over a mix, covering the type of melodic and driving house we should expect to hear from him in the club.
