Audio: Lamine Drops a Mix to Announce WYS! Residency

Lamine Toure has spent his life living in two of the world’s best cities for electronic music. He first got into DJiing when he was growing up in Paris, and after taking up production he put out his own music on labels like the London-based Picknick Recordings. He then moved over to London in 2009, where he got a taste for the underground scene playing parties across the city. He’s been playing some of the capital’s best warehouse parties for a while now, although the most notable of these would probably be the Sunday party Keep On Going, where he’s been holding down a residency for the last few months. Outside of London he’s also stopped at Berlin venues Chalet and Club der Visionaere, which should give you some idea of his stripped-back sound. On a more personal note, after several Sunday night gigs with us here in EC1, we’re thrilled to now also reveal that Lamine will be joining WetYourSelf! as a monthly resident. Ahead of his inaugural night as resident alongside Uruguayan selector Z@P this Sunday, Lamine put together this mix to present the sound he’ll be bringing to the club every month.
