Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky first started playing together as Apollonia in 2012. The French trio has become one of house music’s strongest alliances since then, bringing an inimitable groove in each of their extended back-to-back sessions.
In their DJ sets they mix some of the best house records out today with forgotten bombs from the past – much like the material that makes up their coveted Apollonia label. They’ll usually cut between these selections with pacey and unpredictable transitions, meaning you’re always kept on your toes whenever they appear together.
We’ve known this for some time now. The trio’s regular Farringdon appearances have become one of our calendar’s highlights over the years, and we always know to expect a thrilling night of twists and turns when they join us. Ahead of their return on 14th April, we’ve unlocked a two-hour recording of their most recent appearance with us, where they played with the same fluidity that’s helped characterise their sound.
