Naples has spawned many important techno artists over the years, but few have earned their stripes contributing to the scene like Markantonio. He first cut his teeth as a teenager playing small clubs across the city throughout the 90s, developing a style of multi-deck track layering that many others have since adopted. In 2001 he founded Analytic Trail, the label that’s been home to his key releases among artists like Paco Osuna and Joseph Capriati.
By now Markantonio has been a bedrock for Italian techno for 20 years, a milestone he’s been marking with a series of special extended sets around the world on his current All These Years tour. As he makes a Farringdon stop-off as part of the celebrations on Sunday night, the tour stops off in Farringdon this Sunday night, he prepared an exclusive mix for us in celebration of the last two decades.
