Leeds is one of the UK’s most vibrant cities for electronic music, and Ray Mono is one of the scene’s key faces. Through his party Mono_Cult he became one of the city’s favourite local talents, throwing down slick minimalist house and techno alongside a cast of international stars. In the last couple of years he’s put his hand to production for labels like Nofitstate and Pleasure Zone, and with the release of his killer Esperanza EP, recently he’s garnered attention from all corners of the UK scene. As he makes his debut in Farringdon with Steppin’ Motion next Sunday, he sent us a mix highlighting some of his fresh studio efforts.
