Audio: Dexter Kane shares a groove-indebted house set

Dexter Kane landed his first gigs on London’s underground circuit in 2011, and he’s remained a stalwart of the local house and techno scene for the last decade. In that time he’s put out tracks on labels like Fear of Flying and set up his own Shadow Sanctuary imprint, and in recent years he’s been working closely with another of our favourite local artists, Thoma Bulwer. Since 2017 the pair have been running their Alternate Facts party at cosy hangouts like The Lion & Lamb, with an additional collaborative vinyl release that captures the groove-indebted house style they tend to champion. Judging from Kane’s mix for us, we’re in for the same when he plays Room One this weekend, which is happening as part of Rave Rabbit’s takeover on Sunday night.
