fabric, RA and Jägermeister to launch 2023's #SaveTheNight fund

I. JORDAN, Moxie, Parris and more take part in the event at fabric on 31st August.

Following 2022's fund, which offered grants to three projects working towards a safer, more inclusive and more sustainable nightlife, Jägermeister is doubling this year's pot to €100,000, with applications opening in September.

In the meantime, RA, Jägermeister and fabric are hosting a free event at the London club on Thursday, August 31st. In the afternoon, we'll host a series of discussions and networking drinks with key voices in London's dance music scene, followed by a party in the evening. The line-up is TBA.

The first panel, hosted by Tash LC and featuring Moxie, Adonis's Shay Malt and Hannah Shogbola (United Talent Agency), will discuss the challenges of surging artist fees. Next, journalist Chal Ravens will host a conversation on the staying power of dance music venues, looking at how clubs can achieve longevity, financially and otherwise, with contributions from Judy Griffiths (fabric), Kit Seymour (Venue MOT), Stuart Glen (The Cause) and a TBA artist.

The third panel, chaired by RA staff writer Michael Lawson, will look at how to make dance music more accessible, with help from I. JORDAN, Parris and Nadine Noor of PXSSY PALACE.

Finally, a Jägermeister representative will moderate a conversation between #SaveTheNight's 2023 jury. The jury members will be announced soon. This year's panelists will not only choose the winners of the 2023 funding, but will also act as their mentors.

Applications for the 2023 #SAVETHENIGHT fund will open in September. More information on how to apply will arrive in the coming weeks. For more on the August 31st event and to sign up for free tickets, click here.
