Umbro’s sportswear heritage is reworked through fabric’s lens, resulting in pieces designed for movement, durability, and late nights. Subtle references to the room’s architecture and atmosphere run through the collection — understated, purposeful, and built to last.

The collaboration between fabric and Umbro was born from a shared respect for heritage, community, and authenticity. As both brands marked significant milestones, fabric celebrating 25 years and Umbro commemorating its 100th anniversary, the timing felt natural to begin a creative collaboration. Over the course of a year, designs were exchanged and developed, drawing inspiration from the architecture and raw materials of fabric’s Room 01. The resulting collection features a series of distinctive details, including cross-body zips, custom linings, and hand-dyed materials.

The collection is modelled by Daniel Avery and fabric's resident, Gabrielle Kwarteng.

For late nights and strobe lights, the Room 01 Drill Top fuses Umbro’s archival drill material with fabric’s uncompromising heritage. Cut from heavyweight 100% cotton drill, the piece is defined by a disruptive crossbody zip and unique Room 01 mesh lining - a nod to the movement and anonymity of our dancefloor. Finished in a relaxed, boxy fit. Built for bodies in motion.

The Room 01 Colour Fade Tee channels fabric’s raw, stripped-back identity through Umbro’s sportswear foundations. Made from heavyweight cotton jersey, the tee features a unique dye finish that leaves no two pieces the same - worn and unapologetically real. Inside-out stitching exposes the construction, while dropped shoulders and a relaxed, boxy fit give the wearer freedom of movement. Built for function, not perfection.
This garment has undergone a specialist dye process. Variations in colour and surface texture are intentional, making each piece entirely unique.
