Line-up announced for The Goldie Weekender

In 2016 Goldie threatened to melt down his MBE for us. Now in 2022, the Metalheadz co-founder, crossover media star, and jungle and drum and bass pioneer, returns to melt genres in a 2-part weekender. This July, Goldie is set to blur the boundaries of sound and set-in-motion the synergy of our traditional FABRICLIVE Friday nights and Saturday nights, in a weekend of solid gold sounds featuring two hand-curated line-ups.

‍The Goldie Weekender takes place over two nights on 29th and 30th July. The Weekender will showcase one night of classic Metalheadz sounds with Dillinja, DJ Randall, Grooverider, Zero T and more, with Goldie performing in both Rooms 1 and 2, including a back-to-back with Doc Scott.

On the second night, techno and experimental bass-led music is centre stage with rising new-skool talent LCY,  rRoxymore B2B Fiedel, Martyn, and regular fabric guest Jay Clarke who plays under his JYCLRK moniker for a special Detroit set. Goldie heads up Saturday in a staple back-to-back with frequent and equally formidable partner, and techno figurehead DJ Bone.

Everything from drum and bass, jungle, bass-led fusions, Detroit techno and beyond will come together across the weekend in a synergy as FABRICLIVE Friday nights – with a history of pushing bass music – and Saturdays – our techno and house led nights – are melted into one concept, designed by a figure who has been an integral part of our own history as a venue.

This event is ticketed separately with tickets available from £12 for the Friday and Saturday editions of the event.
