We're Hiring: Label Internship

We are looking for a passionate student (must be enrolled in a UK-based further or higher education course) to join fabric’s Label team.  

This internship presents the rare opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in the electronic music industry. Passion for electronic music, an intuitive understanding of our audience, and a can-do attitude is a must.

TIME AND COMPENSATION

This Internship Program will start in early April and will last until the end of June, with an option to extend over the summer holidays based on performance.

Lunch and travel expenses to the office will be covered for the 2-3 days per week throughout the duration of the program.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Compiling DSP Campaign documents for label releases, collating stats & key infos

- Assisting the Project Managers with filling out Backstage promo tabs with key stats

- Assisting with compiling reports weekly, monthly, release specific/per-label stats

- DJ Promo / PR / tastemaker list research - collating emails and database maintenance

- Assisting the team with Social media, daily stories, ideas for posts

- Assisting with uploading release assets to fabric YouTube channels

- Maintaining fabric Records' Spotify and Apple playlists to ensure they are kept up to date.

- Assisting the label team with ad hoc duties as/when required.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be enrolled in a UK-based further or higher education course preferably related to music.
  • Fluent in English  
  • Knowledge and appreciation of electronic music genres and communities
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint  
  • A proactive attitude
  • A highly detailed oriented person
  • An excellent problem solver, especially in fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to time manage and prioritise under pressure
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter)
  • Creative mindset to generate innovative ideas
