We've introduced the Bruk DJs before (here), though we fully appreciate that a consequent exchange of servers and hosting services has kind of blunted that particular point. But, the fact remains that Bruk are now a trio of DJs: Bilal, Elgato and Dr Maz. You'll probably recognise the name Elgato following his releases on leading London imprint, Hessle Audio, and it's that relationship that probably helps better contextualize the way the three members of the collective play. Appearing at the Hessle full club takeover on the 6th December where Pangaea, Pearson Sound and Ben UFO have invited guests like Anthony 'Shake' Shakir, Frak, Blawan, Objekt and Joe (amongst others), Dr Maz has kindly put together a mixtape (that's actually made from a high percentage of music released on 7") that preempts the event with something of a different lean to the norm.
